Robert's Arts and Craft Project - Oct. 28, 2011

If you want to see my post for the Trick or Treat Blog Hop please scroll down!! Thanks! :)

Hello Friends! :)

Welcome to my blog! and it is another DT post for Robert's Arts and Craft! :) Check out my project below and I have the button on the sidebar if you want to check out the store! :)

This is my own posterboard I made from the Karen Foster Cancer Scrapbooking Kit I brought from Robert's Arts and Craft store. I just love this kit!! I have already made 5 cards from it and now today's project and I still have tons of stickers and papers...so this goes a long way for the money! :)

I use the printed paper and I just fell in love with all the positive affirmations on it and thought this would make a cool poster board to help someone with positive thinking. You can read it on the pic...here is the recipe: I used a card board that comes out of those shirt packs that you can buy and I covered that with the pretty green cardstock from a cardstock color pack and then I took a white cardstock and put the printed saying on it then popped dot it to give it dimension and then I embellished around with some stickers that is also a part of this kit...then I used several things of my own...punched out some stars, I-rock the gems and made the small blue flower (brings out the blue saying) and the angel wings I cut from the printed paper also and stickled it and added another sticker to it as well then popped dot it to make it look like it is fluttering...then of course I have to put my favorite thing on which is the butterfly punch I did from pink and glitter pink cardstock...voila! :)

I have to admit I had a lot of fun to think of doing something different to bring out cancer awareness which is dear to my heart...I hope it inspires you today to bring a smile to someone's face! :)

Here is my project for the trick or treat bag of goodies since I don't celebrate Halloween and I had to make 14 Senior bags of goodies Football Senior Night...and the the other 20 with out the labels of specialness as I say...we are celebrating the last week of football...and the final game for Friday Nite for the seniors which the group includes my son ...it is bittersweet and it made me cry to do this but it was an honor as well...my boy celebrating his last year in High School Football...I used the stamp set from the Karen Foster Football set I brought a while back from Roberts Arts and Craft store...and the flash stamp is from my local scrap store specially made...got it a long time ago since my son is a part of the "Flashes" and our lightning bolt is the team logo...the first pic is a bit blurry since I had to use my phone to take the pic due to the fact um...well...I can't find my digi cam...gasp! ....I know I am not happy right not but I will find it hopefully soon...but I took another to see it up close... :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed weekend my friends and I hope you were inspired on the hop to make your own kind of goody bags and have fun with it! :)
