Hello Friends!

So give her some love and check it out! :) Check her out at :LinkJen Young: http://www.expressivelyme.blogspot.com/

Aloha! Today I am the Guest Designer over at the "Faith Song for HIS Glory" blog, which Kari operates. First of all, I thank the Lord for Kari's persistence in getting this blog going. And gathering all the creative Sisters in Christ to create for HIS Glory. It is amazing to see the Lord's work at hand. I have been slacking in my creativity department, and really wanted to share more about the Lord in my projects. While praying for the doors to open, He has been faithful, and has given me this opportunity, and being a part of this group will allow me to do just that!

For the blog, we are to choose a worship/praise song and create our project around that song, and share a little testimony on how this song pertains to us. I chose the song "Give Me Jesus". I have accepted Jesus into my life about 3 years ago. I clearly knew who He was, and that He died on the cross, but I didn't have relationship with Him. Meaning that now I have Him following me everywhere I go, and through everything I do. Kinda like an imaginary friend with me all the time but it's not imaginary. It may seem strange to you (like it did to me, when I 1st heard my gf telling me about having a relationship with Him), but as I go through the day, Thanking Him for every little thing, knowing that He is besides me through all that I do, WOW... I am just at awe how He never gives up on me and my failures. How He whispers into my ear, and say, "get back up, child, and try again..." If I am going through something crazy, knowing that the Lord is pushing me right along towards the right path, just gives me that peace and calmness within my heart. Thus, the words, "Give Me Jesus" is whom I always want to have always, always, always in my heart and in my mind... In the Morning when I Rise.... And When I am Alone.... and When I come to Die... Give me JESUS!!!

Here is my project to share with you today.....

It has been a while since I've created a digi scrapbook page. My BIL and nephew recently were baptized, so I thought it would be a perfect occasion to scrap about. I thought that the song that I've picked was perfect for this layout. Because when being baptized, you are publicly announcing that you accept Jesus as your Lord n' Savior, and what else would you want.... "Give Me Jesus!!!"... right??? :o) The background photo was take by my hubby, during a drive into work one early morning. Oh it was soooo beautiful, I thought it was perfect to go with the 1st verse of this song. Then I've use photos of my BIL and nephew being prayed over before they were dunked under water. Also a photo of my hubby, his brother and nephew.... the cross was found on the internet (free) simply by doing a search in Google. Then I wrote the 1st verse and chorus of this song.

If you don't know this song, here is a video that will surely bless you....

Have a blessed purple funtastick day and God Bless U!!!

Jen
