Kinderstampo Blog Hop - Oct 15 -16, 2011

Hello Friends,
Welcome to my blog! thanks for stopping by and if you came from Linda's blog then you are in the right place but if you happened upon my blog then you need to start at the beginning at Jess Linkbecause I don't want you missin nuthin! :0 I would like to thank Jess for having me today and I am thrilled to be a part of this hop. Have fun hopping! and now let's get this party started! :)

We are doing something different...Fall/Halloween Frames...altered art! :) love this idea...I am not a big fan of Halloween so I did a Fall theme...I love the changing of colors of leaves...It is so beautiful to me...so I thought I take this item and run with it! :) and among other things...hehe...

Here is my frame: This was actually a frame that broke it's glass...hehe... and I didn't want to waste it and thought someday I can re-purpose it. Well, here was the chance when Jess asked us to alter a frame...my take on Fall...

Recipe: I left the frame white so all the autumn colors can pop....I punched a bunch of fall leaves in different colors cardstock paper and a few was glitter for fun! (forgot how old and hard that punch is..hehe..poor hand) and the I used my DCWV Texture and Finishes stack where I drew freehand the tree on the tree paper....and cut out myself... then I pasted it all on the frame to make it look like 3D affect and the wind was blowing the leaves off the tree and then I used a rub on pumpkins and crow on cardstock and cut that out and pasted that on there as well and then put a pic of my son when he was 6 years old in the frame on pumpkin cardstock...voila! :) I hope you liked it!

I hope you are inspired and I was your last stop!
Make sure you give some bloggy love and thanks for stopping by! :) Happy Fall y'all! :)

In His Love,
Be Inspired,
Kari
