Paper Hoarders Design Team Post - Oct. 21st

Hello Friends!
Welcome to my blog! Thanks for checking out my project today...the DT was challenged to make a shape Halloween card...well I don't own any carts that makes that kind and so I had to use my hands literally...hehe...check it out below.

I had to come up with something a little different since I couldn't print or cricut a shape card...I made a pumpkin at first but I didn't like...it was well...for little ones...so I am giving that to my neighbor since she loves my cards...this pic is way after the DT pic...anyways not to get sidetracked I decided to make a tree... I drew this by hand on the back of the DCWV paper that I had...it was one of the bark of the tree and I thought hmm....let's go for it and it is definitely different but I thought it was fun too...check it out...

I drew the shape/cut out, embellish with some leaves and a crow on top and then pumpkins below with a few leaves that fell...very simple and for my first free hand shaped card....not bad...I will have to play around with this some more when I have time..

The neighbor girl next door is 8 years old and she goes to girl scout (she is very proud) hehe and she is so sweet and her eyes get big everytime I show her the latest thing I am working on and she knows that I scrapbook...this was my first take on the shape card but I thought too kindergarten....so that is why I plan on giving it to her...I think she is going to be tickled...hehe...sometimes the mistakes can be fixed for someone more fitting...bless her heart.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed weekend! :)
