Friday Fun! Eyelets, Etc. Announcement!

Hello Friends!

I am so excited and welcome to my blog! :) Today I can finally make the announcement that I have been accepted as Design Team member of Eyelets, Etc. and they have a wonderful store that sells eyelets and flowers. We had our first challenge to create a Grandparent's Day card for our grandparents since most of mine are not alive except my Mom which my son wanted me to make a card for but the only requirement was that we make it vintage....so here is my take on it...

Recipe:
Flowers with a black button, and little flowers with heart eyelets and the other flower with the gold eyelet, and a scrap ribbon I had on hand and the vintage printed paper given to me from Eyelets as well pasted on the vintage printed paper...I inked it around the edges of the card and then rubbed a little all over the card to make it look more old...hehe...then I had that paper that is when you wet it you can tear it softly with your fingers to make it look feathery it is under the sentiment which I also inked up and I used the vellum stickers which were also given sticked to the inked carstock that I punched out with my corner rounder and then the flower was put on it as well then I popped dot it and the self adhesive bronze gems were put on the right hand corner to give a little something...voila!

My son really liked it and wants to give to his MawMaw....he misses her so much and she lives in Florida so they can't see each other as they like....he chose some of the stuff I had on it too....so I am sure she is going to love it! :)

If you are interested in seeing the eyelets and flowers ...here is the link Eyelets, Etc store.

I hoped you all like my first challenge and there will be many more to come...so Linkmake sure you stop by if you don't want to miss anything you can get my e-mail notification.

Thanks again for stopping by my blog and have a blessed weekend! Don't forget those special grandparents in your life and send them a card to show you care! :)

In His Love,
Be Inspired,
Kari
