Hello Friends!
I am glad you were able to stop by today...it has been a crazy week with the tornadoes and thunderstorms and flooding...we been fortunate only to have a warning and the tornado to bypass us by 15 miles...whew!...too close for comfort but then we have to deal with the flooding...but God protects us Thank Goodness!! :) But please be in prayer for other states like Missouri, Alabama and Oklahoma and Ohio of course! they got hit hard! and for the loss of life and property and please pray that they may know God's love and Hope at this time...thanks...
Now onto the Hop...I am excited and please enjoy and follow the rules:

I love Proverbs and I like to read one a day since it has one for every day of the month so why not make it a habit and add on to my daily devotional time. It doesn't hurt to ask God for wisdom and he will give it to all those that ask Him and I learn all the time from his word which is Living Water! He is an awesome daddy! I wanted to share my insight that I have received when I was reading Proverb 31.
Proverb 31:10-31 is about a woman who has the qualities God esteem us to have. But as I read and meditate on it over a couple of weeks when I knew I had to write about it as I was going to do this for this Hop...Verses 25-26 spoke to me....and I been writing in my journal and wanted to share with you what I have learned for myself and even maybe for you to consider.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come. 26 She speaks with wisdom and faithful instructions is on her tongue.
These words had my heart stuck on them and I thought okay Lord what do you want me to get from them...then I meditated for days thinking I am in trouble if I don't get it soon...lol...but I know God has his timing and I have to wait on him and not on my own understanding....then it came almost a week later after I have asked...he is reminding although I am going through a difficult time that I have inner strength to get through it because of him I can...he carries me beyond the crest and then the days to come I will look back on the experiences that I have had and be able to laugh at them and be happy and have dignity that I have made it through and share my joy with others as well as be able to help others because of it. Trials can't be avoided but we have the tools and the book to get through them with God on our side ever step of the way. Then 26 by my difficulties I can share wisdom from my trials what I have learned and be a light to others.
I try to attain the qualities that God wants us to have as a woman but it is difficult to be a "perfect" woman but I can still do my best as I can and eventually I will be what God wants although I am already in his eyes...and so are you beloved. Don't forget he wants to transform us into amazing women we are becoming in his eyes...isn't that awesome that He loves us in spite of our imperfections but WE ARE AMAZING IN HIS EYES NOW!!!! that is such a great joy to me because I can still mess up and I have messed up but I am being loved anyways!! woohooo that makes his grace wonderful that I don't have to work hard because He is doing it in me as he transforms me and you!! :) So continue to meditate on his words as He wants the best for you and as he transforms you to change and be the woman you dreamed to be and as He thinks you are now. Be blessed! and remember him in tough situations that he is refining you and getting you through the fires and making you an AMAZING woman! :)
Thanks for letting me share my story and now you can look at my project and What I decided to make was a journal for several ladies that are fabulous to me and I know to God too...I wanted it to be a "Hip Happy Upbeat" look for my amazing friends! and maybe you know someone you can make it for....
Here is the Recipe:
8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock paper (scored at 5 1/4 and 5 3/4)
Printed paper cut to size (mine is from a long time ago in one of those Walmart packs)
and cut a strip of another paper from the same pack for some fake ribbon look
then I stamped with Versa Mark green for the stamps sayings and on Orange cardstock
then popped with dots onto green cardstock for uplift to give it dimension.
Easy peasy...enjoy and remember you are a fabulous woman!!! :) and God loves you and so do I!!
I forgot to mention....yeppers I do have some blog candy but not sure what to give yet so it has to be a surprise (squeals) so don't forget to leave your email addy so I can get a hold of you!! :)
Your next stop is Wendy's Blog. Remember to leave a comment on this post if you want to be considered for one of the Grand Prizes. :) If you became a follower it would be great and to keep in touch with my blog you can sign up for my e-mail too! :)

Guest Designer Tuesday!!!
Hello Friends!
I am so excited ...I got some talented ladies lined up for the next couple of months to be my guest designers ...love their creativity! and you are gonna have your socks knocked off!! woohooo! :)
Can you tell that I am excited! :) Well you should be too! so to start off on this Tuesday is the very talented Kimberly Seldomridge and give her some love and leave some comments here and check out her blog and FB page....so off we go! Enjoy!! :)
Note: For some reason I had problems with Blogger and sizing her pics so I know this is small and I have enlarged and all but for some reason it was not working in my favor but I hope you can still see what a nice job she did.
Hi there!
Here's a short little bio about me...
My name is Kimberly Seldomridge and I have been crafting for as long as I can remember and scrapbooking for 9 years and have loved every minute of it. I've been married for 9 years and I have 2 beautiful little girls. I live in rural Indiana and am a Vet Assistant at my local Vet office. I love my job but spending time in my studio is my true passion. I am on the Glue Dots design team and the Your Memories Here webstore design team. I have my very own Facebook Page called Creatively Fabulous where I share all my ideas and projects. I love it when others post, so please come share what you've been working on.
Thank you Kari for this opportunity!
Go get crafty!
~Kim
My project was made out of a blank chipboard frame I got at a crop at Archiver's. I painted it pink and then used Tattered Angels glimmer mist and a mask to add some pretty layers. I used Recollections butterflies, flowers and leaves. The lace on the frame is Prima and the lace hanging it up is a random piece from my stash. I bought the stamps at Archiver's too. I used a scrap piece of canvas and glimmer misted it with a mask too in turquoise and stamped on it with distress ink. I love the fun summery colors and it makes me happy. :)
Wow! Kimberly did a wonderful job and who wouldn't want to make this ...I am going to eventually and post it here on my blog when I finish it later in the week...thanks Kim for being my guest and showing a inspirational project for us. :) Till next time every one God bless! :)

Baby Shower Card
Hello Friends!
I had a baby shower to attend to today after church and it was a great time...but I wanted to show you the baby card I made and I think it is cute! I use a blue cardstock to cut the card to A2 size and then I took the blue plaid paper and cut it a centimeter smaller than the 4 3/4 x 5 1/2 and then I stamped some images on white card stock cut them out in little squares, then put blue card stock backing behind them and then taped them to the card and then I cut the baby bottle and the rattle...and popped them up with pop dots...then before all that just kind of smatted some ink on it to give it some visual color....then the bow was made and I shriveled it up with a heating gun and then attached with a baby blue pin since this card was made for a boy.
Love making baby cards and I am getting low so will be adding that to the list of need cards to make...lol...I am going to have to get more sayings for baby cards too...a shopping expedition is coming soon...lol..
.
I hope you enjoyed that and have fun crafting your own creations and I will see you later if I get my Faithbooking done with out distractions....lol...

A storage solution tip/ Re-purpose
Hello Friends!
It seems the weather is playing on my body...got the allergies/cold mixture and it is really making me tire...but I am cleaning and organizing my craft room and getting my space done to give you all more craftiness...and I am excited and found some ways to repurpose some things for my room ...so I am going to give you a glimpse of it...and then I will have pics posted on my final redecorating it ....I have a small niche in my bedroom and I love being able to do that ...especially when I can't sleep; I get up and create! which sometimes doesn't help but energize me some more...lol...
You know those convenient Frosting that you buy to keep on hand for emergencies for cakes and brownies, etc....well I took the label off and then I cut a 12x12 paper to cut a 3" inch strip and then taped it around the plastic container and a holder for my color pencils were born and I have several of these and I wanted to also show you what it looked like with printed paper...as you have probably noticed...I used my favorite color...purple of course!! it wouldn't be me if I didn't use it you know...lol...I hope I inspired you to think out of the box and come up with a solution of your own.
Sorry I have been behind a bit but you are going to love some changes I decided to make and also I have not forgot about the prizes announcements and will announce the winner this weekend if I don't forget due to my previous injuries I have a problem focusing which is not a good thing...lol...so come back to find out and keep in touch.
I am going to be in a couple of Hops soon! so I will be announcing those as I count down to them...and one is this coming week....The Proverb Woman and I can't wait to share with you what I have discovered! excited about that...

Guest Designer - Not today
Hello Friends!
Starting next week I will have guest designers back starting next Tuesday on the 24th and I am excited about it!!! I have already booked up the rest of May and all of June and can't wait for you to meet them...it was a lot of work today to get them set up on the schedule and themes I want them to do for you....you are going to be so inspired!! I promise...these wonderful group of talents will blow your socks off!!
I will be in a few Hops in May and June and in the next few months too...lol...exciting things are happening and I am so proud to pass on the idea of Faithbooking as well...and I will explain more on that tomorrow when I finally show you my mini album that I did for my son based on his favorite scripture...you have to come back and see what that is...I was going to post on here today but it took longer than I thought to set up the schedule and talk to the designers so I will not post a project but wanted to show you what I won a couple of weeks ago and then I will be playing with these in the next few days...it is tough when I am a student studying Lay ministries and pastoral! but I know it will be worth it all once I get everything in order and in a organized schedule eventually to get it more manageable for me to do all the things I love ....but God is my first priority at all times.
You all have a wonderful evening and look at my new stamps and paper I won below and love ya all! :)
In His Love,
Kari

Card day!
Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend even if it was rainy...I know it was here and I been under the weather but I still went out with friends and had a great time...
I had trouble with my mini album I wanted to show for my Faithbooking yesterday so I planned on showing that Wed once I correct a few things that didn't work or I didn't like...I am picky and like it to look its best!
Now today I am going to show off some cards I made the last few days...it has been a busy few days...a birthday card, two sympathy cards. I don't like making sympathy cards because they are sad but these are very simple if you need something quick...I will be making more to add to my collection since I am really low on a lot of occasions....need to get back to it this week and I planned doing so.
Well I hope you enjoyed these cards today and come back tomorrow...I am not sure my guest designer will be able to do tomorrow so if not....then I will show some more cards I am making.
Have a wonderful evening friends!

Scrapbook Page in Honor for My Gramma
Hello Bloggers!
How is everyone doing? I have quite a few things to catch up on as well as the drawing thing to name the winner from the March Craft Month Celebration and then I been off for over a month due to a lot of problems including with my provider but all is resolved and I am back!!! woohoo!
So let's get going today...I have made this scrap page in honor to my gramma who died last year a few days after Thanksgiving in a car accident which was so unexpected... along with her two sisters later who were with her also...but I loved how it turned out and I think she would have been so proud. I love you Gramma and I miss you but I know you are dancing in heaven until we meet again! It was so healing and although I cried it was a release and knowing in my heart that she is with the Lord and that the Lord will get me through.
Let me know what you think! Appreciate all the comments...have a blessed day my friends!
